The Central Archives of Foreign Affairs is the state archive of Mongolia, which focuses on the source of relevant documents for foreign policy activities, as defined in section 16.3 of the "Archives and Records Act." Our archives performs the following functions:
Replenish the funds materials and documents of historical and scientific importance.
Preservation and protection of documents, record keeping;
Provision of a directory of archival research, information, and reference;
Translation of archival documents into electronic formats and introduction of electronic services;
Provision of archival services at the request of organizations and citizens;
Conducting study, advertizing and publishing archival documents;
Overseeing the archival activities of the founding organizations, providing professional and methodological advice and organizing trainings.
